About the Event
Join Island Wildlife on May 28th at Good Hops Brewing for an educational workshop that focuses on some of our local carnivorous plants. You'll learn a little about the wetlands and plants that make the Lower Cape Fear region one of the world's biodiversity hotspots!
To keep costs low, we ask that you bring a small *glazed* mug or soup-bowl-sized container without a drainage hole. You'll leave with a small bog garden of hothouse carnivores and receive instructions on how to raise it successfully for years to come! If you don't have a container, we'll have a few for purchase. We're running two workshops: 1pm and 2:30 pm.
Children accompanied by adults are welcome. $10/person, limit 12 per session.
Please register by emailing islandwildlifenc@gmail.com with WORKSHOP in the subject line and specify your preferred time slot and we will send you pre-payment information.
This workshop will run rain or shine.
No questions asked scholarship available upon request.
